How We Work

How We Work

Valor Wealth Management Group was created to help first responders, government employees, and their families make sense of the financial decisions that come with a career in public service. Through firsthand experience, we have seen how often people approach retirement with valuable benefits, but without a clear understanding of how those benefits should work together.

Our role is to simplify the complex, coordinate your pension, DROP, 457/TSP, Social Security, investments, taxes, healthcare, and legacy planning, and help you make informed decisions with greater clarity and confidence.

We believe financial planning should be understandable, coordinated, and built around the life you have worked so hard to create.

A team approach adds perspective to all we do and provides increased benefits to our clients.

Todd Liddick

Financial Planner | Founder – Valor Wealth Management Group | Retired Maryland State Trooper | Air Force Veteran

todd.liddick@prudential.com

With a career defined by service, discipline, and integrity, Todd brings a dynamic and well-rounded perspective to financial planning. Todd began his professional journey in the United States Air Force, where he developed the commitment to duty and leadership that continue to guide his work today. After his military service, he built a business from the ground up, attended college, and became a licensed financial advisor in 2000, helping individuals and families plan for their futures with clarity and confidence.

Following his initial tenure in the financial industry, Todd felt another call to serve after the devastation of 9/11/2001 and the D.C. Beltway sniper attacks—joining the Maryland State Police. Over the course of his law enforcement career, he served in diverse and demanding roles, including Patrol, Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Investigations, Criminal Investigations as a Unit Supervisor, Homicide Unit Sergeant, and Criminal Enforcement Division Commander prior to retiring. His leadership in these positions strengthened his ability to solve complex problems, earn trust, and make sound, ethical decisions under pressure.

After retiring from the Maryland State Police, Todd returned to his original passion — helping people pursue financial confidence. As a military veteran, business owner, state trooper, and now a resolute financial advisor, he draws on decades of real-world experience to provide thoughtful, disciplined, and values-driven guidance. At Valor Wealth Management Group, Todd’s mission is to empower clients to make confident, informed decisions about their wealth and their future. His approach combines the structure and accountability learned in public service with the empathy and strategic insight of a seasoned advisor.

jackson.boothby@prudential.com

Jackson grew up surrounded by first responders. His father, uncles, cousins, and many close family friends serve as firefighters in the Baltimore City Fire Department and greater Maryland region, with much of his childhood being spent around fire stations and the close-knit community that comes with the profession. That background gave him an early appreciation for the people who dedicate their careers to public service and ultimately drew him to Valor’s mission of serving first responders and government employees.

Jackson graduated summa cum laude from Franklin & Marshall College, where he studied Business and Economics and competed on the collegiate football team. He began his career in financial services with the Mid Atlantic Financial Group at Prudential, helping individuals and families better understand the decisions surrounding retirement, investments, insurance, and their overall financial picture.

Today, Jackson works alongside Todd Liddick and Valor Wealth Management Group, helping first responders, government employees, and their families across the country navigate the financial decisions that come throughout their careers and into retirement. He brings a personal connection to the communities Valor serves, along with a disciplined, educational approach focused on helping clients understand their options and make informed decisions with confidence.

My career has been built on hard work, integrity, and a simple belief: people deserve someone who will listen first and guide them through the decisions that matter most. I didn't take the traditional route to financial advising. I got here through sales, relationship building, and real-world experience, including building and running my own small business.

I attended Robert Morris University on academic and athletic scholarships as a D1 cross country and track runner, earning my degree in Accounting & Business Management. After college, I built a career in sales, helping business owners and individuals navigate insurance, benefits, and the financial decisions that come with running a business or a household.

One chapter shaped me most: helping cemetery and funeral homes serve families through preneed and at need planning. Sitting with families in their hardest moments taught me how to listen, how to guide without pressure, and why planning ahead matters more than most people realize. It also taught me something I carry into every conversation with first responders and government employees: the decisions that matter most are rarely about money. They're about supporting the people you love.

Today, as a licensed Financial Advisor with Valor Wealth Management Group, I work primarily with law enforcement, firefighters, first responders, and government employees, helping them coordinate the piece’s most advisors never touch: pensions, DROP, 457(b), TSP, Social Security timing, taxes, and retirement income. If you've spent your career in public service, you've earned a retirement that reflects it, and my job is to make sure the rules and deadlines don't cost you what you've built.

I also work with everyday families and business owners because the same principles apply at every stage of life. Whether you're a young family building your first emergency fund or a business owner planning your next chapter, the goal is the same: a plan that fits your real life.

I believe the best financial plans are built on trust, not just numbers. You've spent years looking out for others. Let's make sure your retirement is looking out for you.

Tony Braglio

Financial Planner

tony.braglio@prudential.com

Tony Braglio brings more than 25 years of entrepreneurial and business experience to his role as a financial planner with Valor Wealth Management Group. Working alongside Todd Liddick and the Valor team, we help first responders, government employees, families, and business owners coordinate their financial lives around the people and priorities that matter most.

Before entering financial planning, Tony built and operated businesses across the banking, financial services, and hospitality industries through B&B Financial Services, LLC and Braglio Hospitality Group. He understands firsthand the responsibility of making payroll, managing employees, navigating economic uncertainty, and making decisions that affect both a business and the families who depend on it. That experience gives him a practical perspective on the challenges his clients face.

Tony’s approach reflects Valor’s belief that a pension—or an investment portfolio—is only one piece of a financial plan. Tony helps clients consider how retirement benefits, investments, insurance, taxes, business interests, and estate and legacy planning work together. His goal is to make those decisions understandable and help clients move forward with a clear sense of direction.

Special needs planning is deeply personal to Tony. As the father of a daughter with Williams syndrome, he understands the care and preparation involved in planning for a loved one who may need lifelong support. That experience drives his commitment to helping families consider financial resources, government benefit eligibility, future caregiving, and continuity of support as part of their broader plan.

Tony believes personalized financial planning starts with listening—understanding what clients want to accomplish, what concerns them, and who is counting on them. He is proud to support Valor’s mission of serving those who spend their careers serving others, helping clients prepare for retirement, support their families, and plan for the legacy they want to leave.

Lucas Graham

I've always sought confidence. Confidence in decision-making, planning, and knowing that the path forward is the right one. That's why I'm passionate about financial planning. It’s about creating clarity in difficult financial pictures.

I hold degrees in Computer Science and Finance from WVU, where I learned how to build systems from scratch before the AI times. After building integrated systems, SaaS products, and full-stack apps, I realized how much I loved applying those analytical skills to building strong, clear financial plans.

My passion for working with first responders and public servants comes from a respect for careers like my mothers. In my family, I grew up watching my mother serve as a nurse, caring for people during the hardest moments of their lives. Her commitment to serving others gave me a great appreciation and respect for those who sacrifice so much for the benefit of others: healthcare workers, police officers, firefighters, and first responders.

Today, as a Financial Planner with Valor Wealth Management Group, I work with police officers, firefighters, first responders, government employees, and families to help them gain confidence over their financial futures. Whether it's the details of pensions, retirement options, insurance, or long-term plans, my goal is to simplify the process and provide valuable guidance.

I believe financial planning is ultimately about clarity and confidence. The best decisions are made when people feel educated, prepared, and ready in the path they take. For those who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving others, I’m honored to help bring confidence and clarity to their financial lives.

With more than 20 years of experience in the multiline insurance industry, I’ve spent my career
helping individuals, families, and business owners protect what matters most. Over time, I
realized that the conversations I valued most weren’t just about insurance — they were about
people’s goals, challenges, and long-term plans. I found myself wanting to do more than
safeguard risks; I wanted to help clients build a stronger financial future.
That purpose is what led me to transition into comprehensive financial advising.
Today, I combine two decades of risk management experience with a holistic, relationship centered
approach to planning. My work focuses on helping clients plan intentionally, protect
confidently with insurance, and move forward with clarity. Whether supporting a growing family, guiding a
young professional, or advising a business preparing for its next chapter, my mission remains the
same: to coach clients toward long-term financial independence with steady guidance and a strategy built around real-life needs.
I believe financial advising is more than numbers — it’s partnership, integrity, and helping people
make decisions that support the life they want to build. That’s the work I’m committed to every
day.
